This happened to my boyfriend!!! He beat the shit out of his sisters boyfriend who was beating her and had to do three months in jail 😔😔

Don’t fucking free him? I don’t care what his reasons are, he beat someone up. Him AND boyfriend should be punished, not one violent criminal lauded while the other demeaned just because they chose different victims. What the fuck guys?
Violence is bad, period. I can understand it’s sometimes necessary, but that doesn’t negate the consequences. In this case, it’s punishment under the law. In other cases, it might mean escalated violence. In other cases, it might mean potentially dying or killing someone.
It’s cool, I guess, that he saved his daughter…. but that doesn’t mean he shouldn’t face punishment under the law. He’s a violent offender, just like anyone else who assaults people and should face similar consequences. I need to pay rent, but that doesn’t mean I won’t be arrested if I steal that money every week, or that it’s somehow lawful because it’s necessary. He broke the law, there are consequences for it. Literally that simple. Those shouldn’t go away because he beat up another criminal.
